Eldritch End Mod (1.20.1, 1.20) – Lovecraft's Touch On The End

Available for:FabricForgeQuilt

Eldritch End Mod brings Lovecraftian horror to Minecraft's most neglected dimension, transforming the End into a sprawling nightmare of corrupted biomes, eldritch creatures, and ancient materials waiting to be uncovered. From the desolate Hasturian Wastes to the twisted depths of the Primordial Abyss, every new area feels genuinely unsettling — and that's before you encounter Hastur, The King in Yellow. With over 2.1 million downloads on Modrinth, this has quickly become one of the most popular End overhaul mods available.

Key Features

  • Lovecraftian biomes — Explore the Hasturian Wastes and the Primordial Abyss, each with distinct terrain, hazards, and atmosphere that make the End feel like a proper dimension again.
  • Corruption system — A spreading corruption mechanic alters both the End landscape and its creatures, adding an evolving threat that changes the longer you stay.
  • New resources and crafting — Mine Etyr Ore, harvest Primordial Wood, and work with new materials to craft gear suited for surviving the horrors ahead.
  • Aberrations and bosses — Face terrifying new mobs and multi-stage boss fights, including an early-access encounter with Hastur himself.

FAQ

Is Eldritch End Mod compatible with other End dimension mods?

The mod adds its own biomes and mechanics to the End, so compatibility with other End overhaul mods is not guaranteed. It should work alongside mods that don't heavily modify End generation, but test in a separate profile first.

Do I need all the listed dependencies to play?

Yes — Necronomicon API and AzureLib Mod are required regardless of your loader. If you're on Fabric, you'll also need Fabric API; on Quilt, you need Quilt Loader. Missing any dependency will prevent the mod from loading.

Can I fight Hastur in the current version?

Hastur, The King in Yellow, is available as an early-access boss encounter. Since it's still in development, the fight mechanics and difficulty may change in future updates.
