Ever died in Minecraft because your Totem of Undying was sitting in your inventory instead of your hand? Inventory Totem Mod solves that frustration with a brilliantly simple change — the totem now activates from anywhere in your inventory, not just your offhand slot. Created by Serilum and downloaded over 2.2 million times, this quality-of-life tweak means you no longer have to sacrifice a hand slot just to stay alive during dangerous encounters.
Key Features
- Inventory-wide totem activation — The Totem of Undying triggers its life-saving effect from any inventory slot, eliminating the need to hold it in your main hand or offhand
- Vanilla-identical effect — The resurrection animation, health restoration, and status effects work exactly as they do in unmodded Minecraft
- Multi-loader support — Available for Forge, Fabric, Quilt, and NeoForge, covering virtually every modded Minecraft setup
- Minimalistic design — Does one thing and does it well, with no configuration clutter or unnecessary extras
- Wide version coverage — Supports Minecraft versions from 1.12.2 all the way up to 1.21.11, making it compatible with both legacy and modern modpacks

FAQ
Does Inventory Totem Mod work in multiplayer servers?
The mod needs to be installed on the server side for multiplayer. Since it modifies how the Totem of Undying triggers, the server must have the mod loaded for the inventory-wide activation to work.
Do I need to hold the totem at all for it to activate?
No. With this mod installed, the Totem of Undying activates from any slot in your inventory — main hand, offhand, hotbar, or general inventory slots. The effect is exactly the same as vanilla.
Is the Collective Library the only dependency required?
Collective Library is the main dependency. If you're using Fabric, you'll also need Fabric API installed. For Quilt and NeoForge, make sure you have their respective loaders set up properly.
