Spell Engine x Open Parties and Claims Mod (1.21.11) – Player Parties

Available for:Fabric

Multiplayer spell combat in Minecraft has always had one annoying friction point: vanilla Teams. Spell Engine x Open Parties and Claims Mod eliminates that entirely by bridging two popular systems — Spell Engine and Open Parties and Claims (OPAC) — so your party members won't get blasted by friendly fire during dungeon runs. With over 474,000 downloads on Modrinth, this lightweight compatibility patch by ElocinDev has become a must-have for Fabric servers running spell-based modpacks. If you use both Spell Engine and OPAC, this mod makes them actually talk to each other.

Key Features

  • Native OPAC Integration for Spells — All Spell Engine spells now respect OPAC party and claim boundaries, so area-of-effect magic won't harm your allies or damage claimed land.
  • No More Vanilla Teams Workaround — Removes the clunky dependency on Minecraft's built-in Teams system for PvP settings, letting OPAC handle everything cleanly.
  • Universal Spell Compatibility — Works across every spell added by Spell Engine and its addon mods, ensuring consistent PvP behavior in multiplayer without per-spell configuration.

FAQ

Does this mod work on Forge or NeoForge servers?

There is no native Forge build, but the changelog mentions compatibility with Sinytra Connector for (Neo)Forge packs that use Spell Engine. You would still need OPAC and Fabric API equivalents running through Connector.

Do I need to configure anything after installing?

No. Once installed alongside Spell Engine and OPAC, the mod automatically integrates spell PvP checks with the OPAC party and claims system. There is no additional configuration required.

Will this mod conflict with other Spell Engine addons?

It is designed to work across all Spell Engine spells universally, so any addon that uses Spell Engine's spell system should be covered automatically without conflicts.
